Kind of like a slideshow. However the content on each slide can be whatever you like.
Each child which is the NavigationMenu component represents a single slide.
<Navigation>
<NavigationMenu
title="Home"
>
<NavigationGroup title="Group 1">
<NavigationItem
item="item-3"
navigateToMenu="category"
title="Category"
/>
</NavigationGroup>
<NavigationGroup title="Group 2">
<NavigationItem item="item-1" title="Item 1" />
<NavigationItem item="item-2" title="Item 2" />
</NavigationGroup>
</NavigationMenu>
<NavigationMenu
backButtonLabel="Home"
menu="category"
parentMenu="root"
title="Category"
>
<NavigationItem badge="1" item="child-1" title="Child 1" />
<NavigationItem item="child-2" title="Child 2" />
</NavigationMenu>
</Navigation>
The components that are allowed within the NavigationMenu is: NavigationGroup and NavigationItem. A NavigationGroup groups several NavigationItem and gives a them a “group look”. Each NavigationItem can be a button that can navigate the user to a different slide/NavigationMenu. NavigationItems is also probably where to add custom content as InputControls or similar.
Is an experimental component. Use “__experimentalNavigation” to import it. Also use __experimentalXXX for the child components.
